Boat Hire & Parking
There is a wonderful balcony that leads off the living area which has steps down to the water and the private boat mooring. You can hire a boat from our local supplier or you can bring your own on holiday with you. We have been using the Jetty on the main Quay to moor the boats due to the tides. There is no better to travel around from this stunning holiday homet
If you do not have a boat but would like to take advantage of this fantastic experience, we hire boats from Maurice Hunkin at Fowey River Boat Hire
Maurice will deliver the boat to you and will take you through a 15-20 minute tutorial, covering the use of the boat and the rules of the river. He can also suggest places to go, such as the fantastic pub down river in Golant and will provide maps and life jackets. Prices from £230 per week. Booking prior to arrival essential – please enquire with Louise
Having your own boat will not only give you flexibility of travel but will help create some wonderful memories – imagine a lazy afternoon drifting up the estuary towards Golant where you can moor up and walk from the beach to The Fisherman's Arms for a spot of lunch or maybe pack a picnic and disappear to a secret bay or you may prefer to just sit and fish for Mackerel or Sea bass to cook on the BBQ for dinner.
